Mina Edison was a gracious hostess and concerned with the well-being of children and the community. Following in her tradition, Edison and Ford Winter Estates will offer an etiquette and social skills class for children ages 6-12 on Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Children will gather at the Edison Caretaker’s House for a lesson in good manners.
The course instructor, Suzanne Willis, has taught etiquette classes at Ritz-Carlton hotels throughout the nation. Children will learn how to make a proper introduction, handshakes and dining etiquette during a three-course meal, and will earn a certificate of completion.
