“I’ll Be Home for Christmas” … alone. Sound depressing? Spending the holidays without family doesn’t have to be. Maybe you have to work or can’t afford to travel. Whatever the reason, writer Natalia Lusinski says there are many ways we can all find joy away from home:

“Volunteer… you can find many places who could use volunteers, especially around the holidays. Whether you feed the homeless Christmas dinner, or visit people at a hospital or nursing home, somebody needs you, somewhere.”
