An art tradition that has been around for 30 years is about to kick off its final run, and you don’t want to miss the grand farewell.

Charlotte County’s oldest juried art show, “Harvest of Art,” is a traditional exhibition of two-dimensional paintings and drawings. The show is sponsored by the Visual Arts Center and Centennial Bank.

The selected works will be on display Oct. 7-31 at the main gallery located in Punta Gorda, and the public is invited to the opening reception on Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. A call for artists to exhibit is also underway through Oct. 4.
