Farm City BBQ’s annual barbecue on Nov. 27 celebrates the relationship between the agriculture and business communities.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will support Youth Leadership Collier, a nonprofit organization working to empower students to become effective and ethical leaders.
Youth Leadership Collier holds a weeklong, intensive program that showcases Collier County through fieldwork with key organizations. The program encourages students to come back or stay in Collier County to begin their careers as leaders.
Proceeds from the BBQ have helped to keep tuition for Youth Leadership programs accessible to qualified candidates, regardless of socioeconomic background.
