David Acevedo is a visionary and creative soul who moved to SWFL 20 years ago. Originally from Puerto Rico, he enjoys using rich, vibrant colors in his work.
His passion for art and his desire to help other artists led him to establish an art gallery known today as DAAS CO-OP. His efforts to support other local artists have been recognized with accolades such as a 2016 FACE award, which honored Acevedo’s diversity and inclusion work with the SWFL arts community.
Acevedo is also the founder of the only organized studio for artists in our area, The Union Artist Studios.
