Toast the IRS and you

Admittedly, there are some years when I’d rather see the IRS not be toasted. But I have come to realize that being successful in a career or business comes with certain necessary obligations, like it or not, and one of them is settling with the IRS.

So this year, rather than rant, I’m toasting the IRS with the income tax cocktail, and I’m saying cheers to me for another good year.

Here’s the how-to:

• 1 ½ ounces gin.
• ¼ ounce dry vermouth.
• ¼ ounce sweet vermouth.
• 1 ounce orange juice.
• 1 dash bitters.
• Add ice, shake. Strain the mixture into your glass.
