Campers aged 6 to 12 will explore the “living laboratory” of the Edison and Ford Winter Estates while our Wild Wizards teach topics in STEAM (science technology, engineering, art, and math), history and the natural world. In this fast-paced day of chemistry, campers will see ordinary kitchen ingredients become extraordinary chemistry. Students will explore the states of matter, the periodic table, and the basic concepts behind atomic theory. Edison’s work continues as they make slime, dissect the chemistry of crystals, and create toothpaste big enough for an elephant! Register online at edisonford.org. The cost of this program is $45 for Edison Ford members and $50 for non-members.
