Regular Lee County Commission Board meetings are held at 9:30 a.m. the first and third Tuesdays of the month in Board Chambers in the Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main St., downtown Fort Myers. View the Rules of Procedure, which include instructions for addressing the board.
The five-member Board of County Commissioners is the legislative and governing body of Lee County. Each County Commissioner is elected at large for a maximum of three, four-year terms of office. Each Commissioner represents and resides in one of the five Commission Districts. Each November, the Board elects a Chairman who serves as its presiding officer.
