A successful butterfly garden will include not only include eye-catching nectar plants, but also a variety of larval host plants. In this talk, visitors will learn how to design and care for butterfly gardens in a home landscape, including best locations, plant pairings and more. Common varieties of butterflies that visitors will see include the Monarch, Gulf Fritillary, Zebra Longwing, Orange-barred Sulphur, White Peacock, Black Swallowtail, and the Great Southern White. Each attendee will receive a 20% off coupon for use on plant purchases. Wear sunscreen, a hat, comfortable shoes, and bring drinking water. Advance registration is not required.
