Beach Bodies with Marjorie Hicks

This is a three-day in-studio workshop that will focus on simplifying figures in the landscape, especially all of those light-drenched beach bodies we know so well in Florida. Marjorie will focus on simplifying the form into shadow shapes and light shapes, while retaining and encouraging your individual style. Demos, critiques and praise are a key element of this workshop.

Having studied with Marjorie before, I know she is a huge proponent of daily sketching. Why don’t we all start taking our sketchbooks with us to the beach or out for coffee, and jump start our figure drawing right now!

A supply list along with further information will be distributed one month prior to the class.
