Emmanuel Academies will be hosting a speaker on Wednesday, February 5. Angel Denker, veteran journalist and Lutheran pastor, will discuss the topic “Finding Hope in a Divided Country” — balancing personal, religious, and national commitments.
The community is invited to attend starting at 5pm in the Media Center at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Naples.
Through Rev. Denker’s presentation, followed by a facilitated Q&A, she will share experiences and stories, as well as foster the strength and skills to express and discuss views with civility and respect. She will discuss the challenging balance of civil discourse regarding religious commitments and beliefs.
