paved park entrance

Yellow Fever Creek Preserve got a hydrologic restoration in 2018 and recently received a new, paved park entrance and berm around the 3-acre pond.

Because of these access enhancements, guests have more fishing opportunities and can also enjoy a 2.5-mile marked trail system with opportunities to see hawks, Florida sandhill cranes and the gopher tortoise, a state-listed threatened species.

With no-cost parking and entry, Yellow Fever Creek Preserve is the perfect family destination for exploring the outdoors in northeast Cape Coral. The preserve is located near the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard and Kismet Parkway.
