The National Association of Realtors 2020 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers revealed buyers’ and sellers’ expectations.
For buyers, 51% want help finding the right home, while 13% want help with the terms of sale or the price and 11% want a negotiator to help them get the best price.
Sellers are more divided in priorities, as 22% want help selling within their time frame, 21% want help with pricing in their market, 17% want help marketing their property. When choosing a realtor, buyers and sellers should contract a professional who has the demonstrated experience and proven systems for success.
