What are the restoration plans for the Naples Continental Club and the unoccupied buildings in the Moorings?

The eight-story Naples Continental Club has remained unoccupied since Hurricane Ian. Although there have been offers to purchase the property, the association has plans to fully restore the building and grounds. Progress has been significantly delayed by the limited performance of a contractor, which resulted in the cessation of reconstruction efforts.

Additionally, a few buildings in the Moorings have unoccupied since Hurricane Ian. The five existing four-story mid-rise buildings comprising the Executive Place are being demolished and, assuming the necessary city approvals will be obtained, are scheduled to be replaced by two-eight story buildings.
