Pathways is excited to continue its partnership with United Way of Collier County. Through a $47,000 grant, Pathways provides tuition assistance and family engagement support to 125 diverse children, ranging in age from infant to 5 years old.
Studies show that it takes an income of over $58,000 for a family of four to survive in Collier County. Over 40 percent of families have incomes below that threshold and struggle to pay for high-quality child care. Without access to early education, children face language barriers and learning deficits that place them behind their affluent peers before they even start school.
