Nearly 12% of Americans claim Irish heritage, and you yourself may already be stocking up on Guinness and corned beef. As you plan out your festivities, here are three St. Patrick’s Day celebrations to consider:
• On Saturday, March 14, the Naples St. Patrick’s Day Parade is expected to attract 40,000 people to downtown.
• If you are visiting Fort Myers Beach for spring break, you can stay on the island for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Monday, March 16.
• Fishermen’s Village welcomes Charlotte County residents for music, Celtic dancing, pipes and drums, food, drinks and fun starting at noon on March 17.
