Top 3: Art classes

Southwest Florida has a lot to offer when it comes to the art scene. There is no better way to re-energize after a busy week than through art.

• In Fort Myers, the Alliance for the Arts offers a Fundamentals of Oil Painting class, to teach students how to handle and mix oil paint.

• In Naples, the Naples Art Association hosts a class exploring watercolor, where students can learn watercolor techniques.

• In Marco Island, the Marco Island Center for the Arts teaches students about pottery and how to hone their wheel skills. The class helps students create the perfect bowl.
