The holidays always seem to leave behind a lot of clutter in my house, and I dream about a visit from Japanese decluttering sensation Marie Kondo.
Just like on the Netflix hit series “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo,” she would encourage me to only keep what “sparks joy” in my life and donate or discard the rest. Then we’d get busy folding clothes into tiny rectangles that fit neatly in organized drawers.
My daydream ends and reality sets in as I look around at the clutter and clear a path to the doorway. Just in case Kondo comes to visit.
