We are in cleanup and recovery. Hodges University’s faculty experts in mental health say it’s also a time to start the healing process. It’s about resilience for yourself and reaching out to help your family, friends and community.
Hodges is fortunate to be in a region where people quickly jump into action during tough times. My colleagues say that this helps reduce that feeling of helplessness and can give people a sense of some control even when dealing with an uncontrollable event.
We’ll move forward together, one step at a time, and will come back stronger and better than ever.
