Tampa General Hospital added another trophy to the case this month with its fifth consecutive Magnet designation from the ANCC, a feat accomplished by fewer than 2% of hospitals across the nation.
The Magnet program recognizes excellence in nursing that contributes to greater patient satisfaction and better patient outcomes.
“Magnet recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality care to our community,” said Wendi Goodson-Celerin, senior vice president and chief nursing executive at Tampa General. “To earn this designation multiple times speaks volumes about the steadfast dedication, tireless work and compassion of our entire team.”
