Texting while driving ban moves forward

You’re driving and you hear the text notification. You don’t have to read it, but you do. Most of us have been in this situation, and unfortunately some have experienced a crash or a loss because of it.

According to Sen. Kathleen Passidomo, the texting ban drives forward – it has just passed out of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Law enforcement has the authority to issue citations for texting while driving, now considered a primary offense punishable as a moving violation.

So, when you read The SWFL 100, please do so responsibly while you are waiting for meetings, not at stoplights!
