Students honored for Art for Democracy contest

by The 100 Companies

Last month, we hosted a reception for the winners of the 2022 Art for Democracy contest.

This annual contest is open to grades K-12 and encourages students to express what the democratic process means to them. The top two winners of last year’s contest were Karoll De La Hoz Barragan of Lely High School, who received a $500 scholarship, and Gulfview Middle School, whose student, Daniella Pantoja won $500 for Gulfview’s Art Department.

We’re grateful to our partners including the Collier County Public Schools, Champions For Learning, and the Collier County Community Foundation.

View all the winners at www.CollierVotes.gov/ART.
