Every September, David Lawrence Center joins voices of recovery nationwide to observe Recovery Month and spread the truth that behavioral health is essential to health, prevention works, treatment is effective and people recover. The “Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Are Stronger” theme emphasizes the need to build networks supporting recovery.
Blake was addicted to opioids and became suicidal. His mother watched him tear their family apart and do terrible things. He found help and hope through Drug Court and Crossroads. Now they’re letting their voices be heard and building a strong recovery community.
Celebrate voices of recovery Sept. 19.
