Whether teens have something to sing, write, video record or rhyme about, the David Lawrence Center #StandUp Multimedia Contest gives middle and high schoolers an outlet to be part of the conversation about mental health and express how depression, bullying, anxiety or substance use has impacted their lives directly or indirectly.
The contest invites teens to share how they can relate and what suggestions they have to reduce stigma in their schools and communities. Essay, poem, song or video submissions are due by Jan. 31.
Cash prizes will be awarded to winners in both the middle and high school categories.
