Shy Wolf Sanctuary closes on land purchase, prepares for future

by The 100 Companies

Shy Wolf Sanctuary has closed on the much-anticipated purchase of a 17-acre parcel in Golden Gate Estates.

The purchase allows the nonprofit to expand its mission and operations for the future. The property will be developed in phases, initially using its existing buildings.

The expansion allows Shy Wolf to extend their abilities to rescue abused, captive-bred exotic animals, as well as provide outreach with field trips, education about sustainable living with wildlife, internships and therapy services through partner organizations including Youth Haven, The Shelter for Abused Women and Children and Southwest Florida Chapter of Home Base, a veterans support service.
