Relationships grow strong at 63rd Annual Farm City BBQ

by

With deep roots in SWFL’s business and agricultural community, the Farm City BBQ has become a favorite Thanksgiving tradition and raised $400,000+ to support youth leadership programs.

In Collier County, the BBQ started when local farmers had a bad year of crops. Business leaders invited them for a BBQ so their families wouldn’t go hungry on Thanksgiving Day. A year later, the farmers reciprocated, hosting the business leaders in the “country.”

Chaired by Brian Goguen of Barron Collier Companies, the BBQ will include the event’s signature steak lunch, Immokalee Salad, baked beans, complimentary beer and the Ben Allen Band.
