Register to participate in Scarecrows in the Park

Lakes Park will host its annual Fall Festival Oct. 13-29, which includes Scarecrows in the Park.

Families, friends, civic organizations and scout groups are invited to design a scarecrow for the annual contest. This year’s theme is a movie character, so it’s time to get festive and creative while bringing your favorite character to life!

Installation of the scarecrows is Oct. 13-14 (at specific times) at The Children’s Garden in Lakes Park. VIP Judging takes place Oct. 14, but People’s Choice Voting runs through Oct. 26.

Registration and scarecrow name are due Friday, Sept. 29. More information is available at LakesPark.org.
