A recent Collier County survey showed that nearly 90% of respondents are concerned about the rise of incivility in our local community and blame social media, news media and politicians for much of it. Some people indicated that they are estranged from family and have ended friendships over political differences.
Greater Naples Leadership, in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Collier County, Naples Airport Authority and Naples United Church of Christ, is presenting Reduce the Rancor, a forum on civility. The event is scheduled for Feb. 7 at Naples United Church of Christ.
