Proper disposal of bulky items

Bulky items include furniture, bicycles, appliances, electronics, tires, mattresses and other items that are too large to fit in your trash cart.

If items are gently used and still work, we encourage you to contact one of the organizations in our Reuse Directory to donate them.

Residents living in single-family homes can call (239) 252-2380 at least 48 hours before their scheduled recycling collection day to request a bulk pickup.

Residents living in condominiums or multifamily complexes should check with their HOA for proper disposal.

For larger quantities of bulky items, please bring them to the Landfill or Immokalee Transfer Station.
