You may be called on to deliver end-of-year reports or simply toast the boss at the company holiday party.
As you write out your speech, skip the acronyms and draft the actual names you would give to certain items. Then, read your speech out loud to identify and correct other rough spots. This practice will help you deliver the speech you intend.
If your speech is longer than a page or two, consider placing the paper in sheet protectors in a three-ring binder. This will make sure the pages are easy to turn and stay in order.
