Knowing where and how to start cleanup can be a major challenge after a hurricane. The good news is garbage collection has resumed in most areas. Here’s a quick guide to help:
• Separate storm debris at the curb. Follow the regular guidelines for normal household trash and recyclables.
• Storm debris must be separated into different piles. Piles vary depending on the municipality.
• For faster collection, place piles in areas where there are no obstacles.
