Pet safety during the summer season

by The 100 Companies

While summer officially begins June 21, temperatures are already climbing nationwide.

Humans can control the A/C, grab a glass of ice water and plan for a pool day to cool down, but our furry friends cannot so it is important to keep a special eye on them during the season:

Strategize exercise plans for early in the morning or later in the evening when the temperatures are not as high.

Avoid burnt paws by considering dog booties.

Provide plenty of fresh water.

Know the symptoms and watch for signs of heat stroke.

Do not leave pets in a car unattended.
