According to the most recent Florida ALICE report, 42,000 Collier families were one emergency away from financial ruin prior to the pandemic. The families of Immokalee that entrust their children’s education with Pathways professional teachers are among the hardworking, ALICE families on the frontlines in the agriculture and service industries.
With school closures and unemployment at record highs, all families in Immokalee are struggling to give their children the early education they need to be ready for kindergarten. This grant will allow Pathways teachers to continue proving enriching educational activities and support to keep their children on track for success.
