Who would have thought that an accident would give birth to a local hero? That is Bob Daniels, the icon of Park Shore Beach who picks up trash as he walks down the shore. His absence would alarm locals and calls would start pouring in to know his whereabouts.
“It’s my sanctuary,” Daniels describes his daily activity. His routine for two decades saved his life after he was left paralyzed due to a tragic accident in Wisconsin. The therapeutic walk allowed him to regain his zest for life and gave everyone a source of inspiration to keep the shores clean.
