Start your Thanksgiving with the sixth annual Gulf Coast Runners (GCR) Thanksgiving Day 5K. The run/walk event will be held at Cambier Park at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28.
The 5K course will wind through beautiful downtown Naples, with festivities continuing at Cambier Park. Pumpkin pie will be served after the race. All pre-registered participants will receive long sleeve shirts, and each participant receives a race medal upon finishing.
GCR is collecting canned goods as well as clothing to benefit St. Matthew’s House. Besides supporting a great charity, you’ll have an excuse for the extra serving of mashed potatoes.
