Big Cypress National Preserve holds an astronomy program during the winter months. At the January event, we viewed stars, planets and nebulas up close, through high-tech telescopes.
Lying in the middle of the road, staring up at the massive, sparkle-filled sky in awe and curiosity, we contemplated this intricate life and soaked in the wonderment of the night sky.
The hard ground beneath me, the Milky Way above me and my best friend beside me – pure contentment.
