Lee County Parks & Recreation Department recently announced that the newly constructed northern playground at the Estero Park and Recreation Center is open.
New park features include a zipline, play structure, alligator climber, shade structure and Gaga Ball Pit.
Located on Corkscrew Palms Blvd., the park offers additional amenities such as pickleball, basketball, football and soccer fields.
This summer, the park will offer weekly camps for elementary and middle school-aged students. Programs will provide engaging, hands-on opportunities to learn about outdoor activities, explore the local environment and take field trips to local businesses.
