The Netflix behemoth we know today for streaming original content, movies and series, with over 190 million subscribers, still has a following in their DVD mail order subscription roots.
Over two million people currently subscribe to the service, ordering a DVD through the mail, viewing and returning at their own pace.
They are often rural residents, without quality broadband to receive streaming digital video, and with the demise of the neighborhood video rental store, they may find the mail more convenient. Others say the selection is of higher quality, and many enjoy the picture quality DVD technology gives to movies.
