Neighborhood Health Clinic

With a grant of $25,000, the Neighborhood Health Clinic is better able to protect patients with respiratory symptoms. Through the partnership of Direct Relief and the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, the Clinic has created two Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms with reverse ventilation systems allowing for air changes throughout the day, specifically for those with coronavirus symptoms.

The grant piggybacks on the Clinic’s addition of Care Message, a platform provided by Direct Relief to maintain patient and care provider communication. Through Care Message, the clinic provides tips for wellness and maintenance of lifesaving daily care for chronic diseases.
