National Safe Boating Week raises awareness for best practices

by The 100 Companies

Whether you’re an experienced boater or just beginning, participating in National Safe Boating Week is an excellent way to promote safe boating practices and ensure that everyone on the water stays safe.

Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 91 Fort Myers Beach will offer free vessel safety checks, promote Wear Your Life Jacket To Work Day and host both a Meet the Coast Guard Breakfast and a Boat America class on responsible boating.

Created by Congress in 1939, the Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed civilian component of the U.S. Coast Guard, supporting the Coast Guard in nearly all mission areas.
