Honoring soldiers with fishing fun

Looking for a unique way to show your support and appreciation for U.S. soldiers?

Naples Take a Soldier Fishing, a nonprofit organization founded by Steve and Jamie Loyd in 2007, honors the service of active duty, retired and wounded military heroes with a fishing event every year. This year’s event, Sept. 5-8, includes a fishing tournament and an awards dinner banquet at the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

Local fishing guides and captains, along with many volunteers and supporters, share a relaxing and fun day fishing in the Gulf to show our soldiers our community’s gratitude for their service.
