Naples buildings celebrate the arts

I recently attended the dedication of the Eva Sugden-Gomez Community Center at the newly completed Baker Park, where I learned something special about the city’s investment in the arts.

As commercial buildings receive permits for construction, Naples requires the owner to set aside $1 per square foot to install public art. With so many benefactors in the community, additional art pieces like custom LED light sculptures crafted by artist Jason Krugman, are often donated .

As residents, we are fortunate to have individuals and families that invest in such beautiful and artistic resources that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
