Like the jump from Economy to Business Class, luxury cars generally provide a holistic, head-to-toe improvement. You’ll get a bigger engine, better performance, comfier seats and more.
But funny enough, the most common luxury car “upgrade” is actually a downgrade in disguise. Big, beautiful 19″ wheels may look stunning, but by leaving less rubber between you and the road, they lead to a rougher ride, increased road noise and more expensive tires to replace.
I don’t mind because I love the look – but there’s no denying that big wheels are the “high heels” of cars, trading comfort for cosmetic appeal.
