This holiday season has been different.
My mom has been in and out of the hospital and rehab for the past two months. At Thanksgiving, my sister and I cooked a full feast to bring to her room – plant-based, all the sides and microwave in tow to heat everything up. It was a special day as we ate, chatted and decorated her room for Christmas.
Going into year-end celebrations, no matter what your holiday looks like (as it may not look like before), take a moment, know you’re loved and that you can still create moments to make it memorable.
