Collier County and its community partners are dedicated to healthy families and safe neighborhoods. To address the growing mental health crisis and opioid epidemic, David Lawrence Center (DLC) and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) have developed progressive programs that improve treatment access and divert individuals from the criminal justice system, with life-saving results.

DLC partners with CCSO’s new Mental Health Bureau to address situations that keep our community safe while giving deputies an opportunity to ensure individuals get the necessary care. From wellness checks to crisis training and participation in problem solving courts, this collaboration improves well-being for all.
