Are you an avid reader who gazes at your growing stack of books, wondering who else could benefit from a good read? Or maybe the urge to read strikes at hours when your local library or bookstore isn’t open?
Little Free Libraries are popping up in neighborhoods all over the world as a way to encourage literacy by sharing books. Tiny little sheltered bookshelves mounted on posts in people’s front yards invite anyone to stop by, select a book, read and return it.
An interactive website map shows about a dozen or so Little Free Libraries right here in SWFL.
