Thursday may have earned a hashtag for being the day to “throwback,” but real estate experts also know it’s the best day to list your house for sale. They recognize that homes which go on the market Sunday take the longest to sell.
In fact, residential properties listed on Thursday typically get scooped up with a contract five days faster than those listed on Sunday. Prospective buyers most often check listing sites on Thursday evening and then plan their weekends around open house events.
So after staging your home, plan on sticking the “for sale” sign in the front yard mid-week.
