Meet the Super Commuter, someone who has to drive 90 minutes or more just to get to the office. It might sound a little crazy, but more and more employees are describing themselves that way on their resumes.
Remote work has allowed 4.9 million Americans to relocate to where they want and can afford to live since 2020. Robert Pozen, senior lecturer at MIT, says, “The super-commuters are mainly knowledge professionals who don’t have to be physically present every day. That’s about half the workers in the U.S.”
