Do you ever wonder what happens to your recyclables after you place them curbside? Collier County Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Division released this video so that residents can see that when items are recycled right, they can have a second life.
For example, paper and cardboard can become boxes, paper towels or toilet paper; aluminum cans can become new cans, car parts or construction materials; and plastic bottles and jugs can become new containers, carpet, clothing or plastic lumber and pipes.
