Since elections were designated as critical infrastructure in 2017, we have taken advantage of numerous resources to continue providing safe and secure elections, including:
• The purchase of ALBERT, a network security monitoring system that helps identify malicious activity.
• We have partnered with several agencies, including the Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the Center for Internet Security, to help keep our network secure.
• We have also transitioned to a “.gov” website domain, which provides added security measures reserved for U.S.-based government agencies.
